LR PARTNERS WITH ROYAL CARIBBEAN IN SUSTAINABILITY AND SAFETY EFFORT

Lloyd’s Register (LR) and cruise company Royal Caribbean Group have announced a strategic partnership aimed at driving safety, innovation, and sustainability across the cruise industry. 

Representing a long-term shared commitment to enhancing safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and sustainability across the cruise industry, the partnership aims to set new benchmarks for excellence and environmental responsibility. Under the partnership, LR will provide expert classification, risk management, and technical consultancy services to ensure Royal Caribbean Group’s fleet remains at the forefront of maritime safety and efficiency. This includes overseeing the transfer of more than 25 ships into LR class and integrating marine management systems and ship emergency response services.
