Jul 11, 2025 | Maritime business news

Dutch emission-reduction technology innovator Value Maritime has signed a commercial representation agreement with marine products, services, and equipment provider Euploia Drydocks & Services to strengthen and expand its representation in the Greek market.

As Value Maritime’s commercial agent in Greece, Euploia will be responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling Value Maritime’s full range of products and services. These include the Filtree system (SOx scrubber), individual Filtree components, and the Onboard Carbon Capture System (OCCS), along with engineering and other related services.

Euploia Drydocks & Services says it is an established company led by experienced managers in marine services, specialising in ship repairs and conversions. A strong network of dry dock services and shipyards will help bring Value Maritime’s technology and solutions closer to local shipowners and operators.

Semiramis Stampira, Commercial Manager Greece, Value Maritime, said: “Being in the right place at the right time is crucial for our business. Euploia is well-positioned to engage with customers ahead of shipbuilding or retrofit decisions. This timing enables them to assist shipowners in evaluating the right emission-reducing technologies for their fleets. They deliver quality components, supported by installation and related services, all maintained to high standards in both local and global markets.”

Charidimos Valentakis, MD Euploia Drydocks & Services, added: “We are proud to announce our new partnership with Value Maritime, a pioneering company in sustainable maritime technologies. Value Maritime’s cutting-edge technologies are a perfect match for our commitment to delivering high-performance, environmentally responsible solutions to our clients. We are confident that this partnership will significantly contribute to the decarbonisation efforts of the Greek shipping industry and will generate tangible value for our customers.”

Maarten Lodewijks, Co-founder and Director, Value Maritime, said: “We are delighted to welcome Euploia as an extension of our team in Greece. The Mediterranean is a key region for us, offering significant opportunities for emission reduction and added value for our clients.”

The Value Group comprises two sister companies, Value Maritime and Value Carbon, working together to drive decarbonisation across shipping and industry. Since 2017, Value Maritime has offered significant emissions reductions and cost savings. Its technology is designed to reduce the environmental footprint of shipping. The goal is to help transform the way the sector operates, combining cleaner solutions with tangible financial benefits. Value Carbon focuses on land-based carbon management, addressing the entire carbon value chain. It aims to create systems for storage and ‘catch and release’ initiatives, with a focus on generating both environmental and financial dividends. Together, the mission is to help clients achieve emission reductions through sustainable, innovative technologies.
