Anemoi Marine Technologies and Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry (CHI) are deepening their partnership to provide comprehensive wind propulsion installation services across CHI subsidiary shipyards.
Anemoi and CHI first entered into a cooperation agreement in 2022 and since then have successfully completed the installation of nine rotor sails at CHI subsidiary shipyards, including VLOC installations for both Vale and U-Ming at CHI Zhoushan. Having closely collaborated on projects previously, the duo believe they provide a wealth of experience and expertise, giving confidence to those considering a rotor sail installation and providing added clarity on the installation process and costs. Under the updated agreement, Anemoi’s rotor rail customers can benefit from CHI’s technical installation services, spanning from integration design to onboard installation at any of CHI subsidiary shipyards across China.
This agreement with CHI, supporting turnkey integration and installation services, gives CHI and Anemoi customers the option to choose from a variety of services and locations across the CHI network. Having collaborated closely on multiple rotor rail projects, together Anemoi and CHI say they can offer a compelling and coordinated approach backed by substantial shared experience.
