AUTOMATION SYSTEMS TO BE SUPPLIED TO HYDROGEN CSOVs

Høglund is providing a comprehensive Integrated Automation System (IAS) for four advanced, hydrogen powered DP2 Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs), to be built at Damen, Vietnam, destined for the offshore wind industry.

In partnership with Eekels, the system integrator and the main supplier of the hybrid-electrical system to these vessels, Høglund will deliver a complete Integrated Automation System, consisting of:

  • Alarm & Monitoring System (AMS)
  • Automation & Control System (ACS)
  • Power Management System and Battery Control (PMS/EMS)
  • Power Failure Control (PFC)
  • Fast Data Capture
  • Ship Performance Monitor (SPM)

This project marks a significant new venture for Høglund into the offshore wind power industry, where the demand for CSOVs is set to expand, and where Høglund says its automation expertise aligns seamlessly with the stringent industry requirements.
