UAE-based retrofit and environmental technology company Goltens Worldwide has entered into a non-exclusive sales agency agreement and preferred global installation partner with Frese, a Denmark-based manufacturer of energy saving flow control and management technologies, thereby expanding access to advanced energy efficiency solutions for the commercial merchant marine market.
Under the agreement, Goltens is authorised to promote and sell the Frese Fuelsave system for retrofit applications across most major global maritime markets. The Danish company has appointed Goltens as preferred global installation partner.
The Frese Fuelsave system is designed to optimise flow control and reduce energy consumption in engine-room cooling water systems both on the seawater and low temperature freshwater side. By maintaining precise control of temperature and flow, the systems contribute to improved engine and auxiliary equipment performance while delivering measurable fuel savings and reduced emissions – considered key priorities for shipowners navigating tightening environmental regulations under EEXI, CII, and FuelEU Maritime frameworks.

Goltens will act as a regional sales channel for the Fuelsave system, targeting retrofit opportunities supplying engineering consultation, sales support, and installations through its established global footprint.
