Methanol-fuel marine solutions provider Green Marine and A.P. Moller-Maersk company Maersk Training have formed a strategic partnership to establish ‘Maersk Training powered by Green Marine’.
This collaboration aims to become the leading provider of training solutions for the transition to sustainable maritime fuels, with an initial focus on methanol.

The demand for alternative fuel training is rapidly increasing as the maritime industry strives to meet stricter environmental regulations and achieve ambitious decarbonisation goals. Green Marine brings to the table over a decade of practical experience in operating methanol-powered vessels, making the company suited to address this growing need.

The partnership is believed to position Maersk Training powered by Green Marine to become a one-stop shop for training across the entire methanol value chain, from production and bunkering to vessel operations, in order to empower shipping companies to navigate the green transition with confidence and contribute to a more sustainable maritime future.
