Low- and zero-carbon marine fuels organisation SGMF has appointed Dr Joseph Lambert as senior technical advisor.
Lambert is a maritime energy and cleantech specialist with experience across government, academia, and consultancy. At the UK’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, he led strategic engagement on cleantech innovation under the UK’s flagship £1.3bn cleantech innovation fund. He holds a PhD in maritime decarbonisation from UCL and brings expertise in alternative fuels, climate policy, and low-carbon shipping. Lambert advised on national strategy and worked closely with stakeholders across academia, industry and government.
