Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (BV) has announced recent new leadership appointments, intended to strengthen the company’s regional leadership, support continued growth, and enhance operational excellence across key global markets.
Drago Pinteric has been appointed VP, M&O South East Asia, to oversee multidisciplinary operations across South East Asia, with a focus on commercial strategy, client engagement, team development, and sustainable business practices. He is tasked with delivering impactful leadership across a complex zone with key clients and critical operations. With over 25 years of global experience, he held senior positions at Shell, Stasco, NWSSSC, and Total. He joined BV in 2021 as GM Marine & Offshore Hong Kong, and served as Country Chief Executive, Marine & Offshore Korea since 2023.
Ramona Zettelmaier has been appointed Marine Chief Executive for Central Europe, leading the business across the region, focusing on sustainable growth, strategic initiatives, and team development. She began her career at sea as an engineer and later spent over a decade at Lloyd’s Register EMEA in technical and commercial roles before joining BV in 2013.
Christophe Vaes has been appointed Country Chief Executive, Marine & Offshore Korea, responsible for driving financial performance, client engagement, and compliance across Korean operations. He brings broad international experience, having worked in both seafaring and offshore roles with Total, Charles Taylor Mutual Management, and DCNS, before rejoining BV in 2017 and serving in leadership positions in Norway and China.
Matthieu Baert has been appointed Country Manager, Marine & Offshore Canada, focusing on strategic growth, operational performance, and talent development across the Canadian market. He has over 18 years of experience in offshore and subsea engineering, including eight years at Technip, and has held several technical and strategic roles since joining BV in 2015.
Chris Greenwood has joined BV as Commercial Director, West Europe & Americas region. Based in London, he will be responsible for the region’s commercial strategy – aligning sales, marketing and business development to achieve BV’s strategic objectives. Greenwood has nearly 20 years of global experience in operational and commercial roles including nearly 15 years with ABS and subsequently with Inchcape Shipping Services. He has worked in South Korea, Japan, USA, Singapore and Dubai.
